ULTIMATE Heart of America 2020 Season Opener Postponed
Richmond, KY – Officials with the ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series have announced the season opener, slated for April 4th has been postponed. Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY was set to host the $5,054 to win event. However, in accordance with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s orders to limit gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the race has been postponed. The race was also co-sanctioned with the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series.
“We are following all government orders as they come out, and it led to the postponement of this weekend’s season opener,” said ULTIMATE Heart of America director Bill Lupinos.
The series’ next scheduled event is $20,000 to win King of the Commonwealth on May 30th at Virginia Motor Speedway. It is a bonus event for drivers of the ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series.
