ULTIMATE Heart of America opener at Mountain Motorsports Park postponed
Richmond, KY – The opening race for the ULTIMATE Chew on this Jerky Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series and ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series at Mountain Motorsports Park on June 20 has been postponed. The postponement comes as local authorities did not clear the track for competition for the upcoming weekend. Concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic led the health department to not allow the race track to operate with the grandstands open.
Once guidelines for the state of Kentucky allow for tracks to operate with fans in the stands, an announcement for a rescheduled date will be made. The ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series along with the ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series is scheduled to be at Richmond Raceway on July 11 for the Butch Shay Memorial paying $5,000 to win.
