Watch ULTIMATE Supers at Lake View Tonight on MAVTV

Speed51’s Short Track America debuts a new episode on MAVTV Wednesday night, featuring the awe-inspiring horsepower of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series.

Wednesday’s episode highlights the ULTIMATE Southeast stars as they tackle Lake View Motor Speedway (SC) for the Glory Days 50.  The event marks the first appearance by Super Late Models at the Nichols, South Carolina facility since 1996.

Before the Glory Days 50, the last Super Late Model event at the 0.400-mile oval was a UDTRA Hav-A-Tampa Dirt Racing Series race on May 11, 1996.  More than 13 years later, the roar of the Supers returns under the ULTIMATE banner.

The race features several Southeastern Dirt Late Model standouts, including former ULTIMATE champions Dennis Franklin and Zack Mitchell, as well as title contender Daulton Wilson, third-generation racer Jeff Smith, 2018 FASTRAK Racing Series champion Matthew Nance and more.

Bob Dillner and Wesley Outland will be on the call for the race, with Alan Dietz reporting on major storylines from the pits.

Two more new episodes of Short Track America are just around the corner as well.  Next week, we’ll head back to the “Last Great Colosseum” of Bristol Motor Speedway for a one-hour show featuring the Vores Compact Touring Series on September 11.  One week later, Short Track America returns to Five Flags Speedway for Round #3 of the Blizzard Series featuring heat races and a 75-lap main event.

The newest episode of Speed51’s Short Track America will premiere Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET on MAVTV, with another airing to follow at 10 p.m. ET.  Check your local listings and mavtv.com for details.
